Solutions Take Centre Stage at COP30, Marking a New Era of Accelerated Climate Action. Read it here.
A dynamic session exploring how to transform National Adaptation Plans into investable blueprints by embedding risk analytics, inclusive finance, and innovative instruments that direct resources to the most vulnerable.
Making National Adaptation Plans Investible will convene governments, financiers, and practitioners to address the persistent gap between adaptation priorities and investment-ready pipelines. Despite clear evidence of the benefits of adaptation, most NAPs remain too high-level to attract private capital. This session spotlights how inclusive finance models, risk-analytics tools, and innovative insurance solutions can be embedded into NAPs to turn them into credible investment roadmaps.
Featuring a Shark Tank-style dialogue between governments, multilateral actors, and private finance leaders, the session will encourage candid exchange, practical critique, and co-creation of actionable solutions. Participants will surface opportunities to align incentives, strengthen resilience pipelines, and channel finance where it is most urgently needed, ensuring NAPs deliver for vulnerable communities while providing investors with confidence and clarity on the road to COP30.
