Sustainable fuels

Biofuels and advanced biofuels are critical to decarbonizing over 20% of global GHG emissions. They still face hurdles of high costs, financing gaps, uncertain demand, as well as fragmented accounting and inconsistent standards. At COP30, the opportunity is to converge on a global framework for financing mechanisms, feedstock traceability, and credible standards, creating the credibility and confidence needed to scale all fuel pathways.
