Methane is over 80x more potent than CO₂ over 20 years. Rapid reduction is critical to near-term climate goals. Deploying leak detection and repair (LDAR), flaring reduction, and methane capture technologies can deliver cost-effective emission cuts, increase gas recovery, and strengthen energy security.
