The COP30 Presidency on Wednesday released the official calendar of Thematic Days for the 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (COP30), outlining a sweeping agenda aimed at turning negotiations into action.
Running from November 10 to 21 in Belém, Brazil, the program is designed to bridge high-level policy with real-world solutions, covering more than 30 interconnected topics from forests to finance, energy to the economy.
“These Thematic Days represent a bold invitation to the world to come together in Belém and help shape the future. Each day is intended to connect negotiations with real-world impact, offering a platform where implementation, equity, and urgency meet. COP30 is where lived experience must translate into urgent climate action,” said Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago, COP30 President-Designate.
The Thematic Days align with the six pillars of the COP30 Action Agenda – (1) Energy , Industry & Transport; (2) Forests, Oceans & Biodiversity; (3) Agriculture & Food Systems; (4) Cities, Infrastructure & Water; (5) Human and Social Development; and (6) Cross-cutting issues — and support the outcomes of the first Global Stocktake (the UN’s official ‘report card’ on climate progress).
Daily programming will take place in both the Blue and Green Zones, bringing together ministers, mayors, Indigenous Peoples, businesses, civil society and youth around key priorities.
