Food Systems Call to Action
Accelerating action for food systems transformation to deliver for people, nature, and climate.
Launched at COP28, the Food Systems Call to Action aligned diverse actors around a shared vision and priority actions to transform agriculture and food systems.
The Food Systems Call to Action concluded with 335 endorsing entities, including farmers’ organisations representing 1.2 billion farmers, sub-national governments covering 2.2 billion residents, businesses across the full agri-food value chain with approximately US$1 trillion in combined revenue, and 150 civil society and philanthropic organisations.
As the Call to Action closes, participating initiatives have been invited to join the relevant Activation Groups in the Action Agenda. Progress will be tracked and reflected through annual reporting, including via the NAZCA portal, ensuring transparency on implemented climate action.
